What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assessing and treating patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions, following our clinical approach and agreed standards.
  • Building genuine relationships with patients, understanding their goals and what getting better means to them.
  • Developing individualised treatment plans using appropriate hands on treatment, rehabilitation and patient education.
  • Monitoring patient progress, reassessing outcomes and adapting treatment plans when needed.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, participating in mentoring and contributing positively to the wider team.

  • You’re a HCPC registered physiotherapist, whether newly qualified or with some relevant experience.
  • You have a genuine interest in developing your career in MSK physiotherapy.

  • You can reliably travel between Bexleyheath and Blackheath.
  • You’re available for some evening and Saturday shifts.

This Role Probably Isn’t for You If

  • You find constructive feedback difficult to accept.
  • You prefer working without following agreed clinical systems.
  • You see patients as appointments to get through rather than people to connect with.
  • You’re unable to commit to the required working pattern.

What Success Looks Like

  • 30 DAYS — You understand our clinic systems, are getting to know the team and are beginning to develop your caseload with appropriate support. You’re asking questions, implementing feedback and ensuring patients leave with a clear plan.
  • 60 DAYS — You’re managing your caseload with growing confidence, demonstrating sound clinical reasoning and building strong patient relationships. You’re monitoring outcomes and maintaining consistent clinical documentation.
  • 90 DAYS — You’re taking greater ownership of your caseload, working consistently to our clinical standards and contributing positively to the team. We’ll review your progress, development goals and opportunities to increase your contracted hours.
  • The measure of success: You’re becoming the kind of physiotherapist patients trust, achieve meaningful results with and feel confident recommending to others.

What You Get

  • £32,000–£35,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), depending on relevant experience and suitability for the role.
  • An initial permanent contract of 28 hours per week, equivalent to approximately £23,579–£25,789 per annum.
  • A clear pathway towards full time employment (38 hours per week), subject to development, performance and clinic demand.
  • Clinical mentoring, internal and external support and structured feedback.
